Aardvark, the uniquely African search animal, originated in the African bush and was brought on-line by Intekom in February 1997. An aardvark is a shy, nocturnal animal known for its ability to sniff out tiny ants in large ant heaps. We recognised ability to track small tasty bites from the plethora of information available on the World Wide Web in our searchengines, so we decided to call it Aardvark.
